I believe in a Goal, and My Goal is Creation….

We underwent the process of transforming ourselves from ordinary men to Brother Radians, men above the rest, visionaries, builders of nations. We succeeded, and were given our cherished place in the brotherhood.

What does the Circle require?

Sometimes we find ourselves falling hard, committing mistakes unworthy of our beloved Creed, straying from the path, but still striving to fulfill ideals we swore to uphold.

Instinct dictates mere survival, but living the Creed and being part of the Circle demands purity of purpose, adherence to the tenets of the Brotherhood, and excellence above all.

Words that we have sworn to uphold continue to shape our thoughts, our actions, and ultimately our destiny. For being counted as a member of the Circle has its heavy responsibilities, sometimes more than we come to realize.

The responsibility of living up to the grand ideals of the Brotherhood does not end when we leave our beloved schools. We spend five or so years in college, but the best years of our lives are spent after, building our families, the nation, and ourselves. One then comes to realize that more responsibility and distinction is expected, in all tasks. Neither does our adherence to the Creed and the Fraternity tenets end when we leave school and start our careers. Again, more is demanded. Since the Brotherhood was forged with the highest principles, excellence is the rule, not the exception.

Excellence is demanded from all those who dare to face themselves and count themselves as members of the Brotherhood.

Living the Creed is a constant battle, not one that is always won, but a struggle that distinguishes the Circle by its sheer presence in our consciousness.

The Circle has had its share of difficulties, and all of us fail at times. However, we strive to learn from our past, choose to rebuild ourselves, and dare again. Our individual struggles today shape our fate, our destiny, and collectively, the legacy of our Brotherhood.

We struggle, we dare, excellence is our mark.

This is our vow and we are Epsilon Chi.

For I am a Radian.

We have passed our trials, and emerged from the forging fires of the early years of the Circle.

Our experiences have served us well and we stand ready for the future.

We know more trials are to come, but we face the future with our Brothers, a Circle unified, strengthened and One.

The Epsilon Chi Fraternity is an Engineering-based fraternity in Diliman, and a University wide fraternity in Los Baños. Since its founding in 1964, it has produced a line of student leaders, board topnotchers in their respective fields, government officials here and abroad, respected luminaries of the academe, and pillars of industry in the private sector.

From young entrepreneurs, to professors in the academic field, to decision makers in government and in industry, the Epsilon Chi Fraternity has taken pride in molding leaders from its ranks, instilled with the ideals of excellence, nationalism, and the vision of a better tomorrow.

A relatively young fraternity, we have the benefit of the wisdom of the earlier generations of our brothers, and the fire and idealism of our younger generations, helping the brotherhood build a stronger Epsilon Chi, dynamic, and responsive to the changing times.

Today, the Epsilon Chi Fraternity stands proud of its achievements and most of all its members. Fully cognizant of the travails of our past, the brotherhood of Radians forges on.

Whenever a new Radian gives his word to build a new self, described by the will to excel in all fields of human endeavor, the Circle of excellence is assured of continuity. And in the search for excellence, individually and as a Brotherhood, we do not believe in resting on our achievements, nor complacency.

FYI Admin.

The Engineering Circle founded in 1964 was just an org. If memory serves, according to my 60's brods some of the founding members are brods. Between 1964 and 1968 we have TAU ALPHANS who were also members of that student org called Engineering Circle.

It was in 1969 when the org transformed into a fraternity (ep chi).

It is quite misleading to say that ep chi was founded in 1964.  <_<

There are gangs and there are pseudo-frats... then there are fratmen and there are U.P. Fratmen... and finally, there are The Argonauts of U.P. Diliman.

Since 1932. Nothing more. Nothing less. No one else.

I heard the same is the case for Artists Circle. This used to be a student organisation founded by another frat in the 70s, after a while naging fraternity narin. Notice the fraternity colors, very similar with another frat with an A. I'm not sure how true.

I just heard from my resident brods that epsilon chi in Diliman is now university-wide, meaning they accept would-be members outside the College of Engineering but still students of U.P.

If it's true, then so much for that idea of being an "engineering circle"...

Stupidity is not the lack of knowledge, but the illusion of having it.

Malamang. Probably that desperate already?  There's no other reason I can think of for them to compromise their original mission/vision.

At least for us there's no need to go that far. B)

Me too. I don't get it. Why put up an Engg-based frat then make it U-wide?

Stupidity is not the lack of knowledge, but the illusion of having it.
