My apologies for not properly attributing that Tau Mu Sigma Phi is the first and premier fraternity in the oldest university in Asia (and the only royal and pontifical university, which is celebrating its quadricentennial next year).
our brotherhood transcends age, and I am sure that other fraternities also have this so called quality. The fire of brotherhood in our fraternity is not confined to batches.
Imagine a 65 year old doctor telling his initiation stories to his younger brod medical student, who are in awe, because of the same path they took to be a member of our fraternity.
Me, undergoing surgery to be done by my elder brod.
Alumni drinking with "undergrad" (med is a post graduate course) brods.
concerts, movie premiere, induction ball tulong tulong lahat.
etc etc...multilevel bonding (not confined to batches)
with this in mind, you only need yourself, your will and strength to accept the initiation process but its freaking hard to enter a fraternity alone and I admire those persons, my frat brods who finished our initiations amidst of indirect peer pressure to quit(from their ex-batchmates)
I am not sure if there our fraternities before us (pre war), but we were registered, published and confirmed that we are the first fraternity in UST.
Tomasino ka ba? quadricentennial nga namin next year.
We donated 100,000 US dollars for the establishment of the Thomasian Alumni Bldg.
