Bro, may question lang ako.  Hindi ba dapat AKR instead of AKP?  Rho is the Greek counterpart of the English 'R'.  My assumption is that kaya naging 'P' dahil the Greek letter Rho looks like the letter 'P' in the English alphabet.  Parang Sigma Rho, na minsang tinatawag ding EP (eeh-peeh) kasi the Greek letter Sigma resembles the English letter E tapos sa Rho naman, pareho nung isinulat ko kanina.  But in reality, they should be SR and not EP, as they are the Seekers of the Right.

Thanks.

ΘΚΡ = Theta Kappa Rho

R is the 18th letter of the modern Latin alphabet.
Ρ or ρ is the 17th letter of the Greek alphabet.

Rho = Transliterated "R". Ancient Pronunciation: "trilled r"
The Greek letter came from the Semitic form, and for some reason the Romans added a diagonal bar to distinguish this from their altered form of "pi", which they used for the "p" sound. Think about this: Among the many dialects of Engilsh, there are at least six ways to say the "R" sound. Compare the Scots burr, John Kennedy's accent from Hahvahd (a short non-rhotic R), some of the New Yawwk accents (a longer non-rhotic R), Cockney, Appalachian, an average American "R", and my own harsh Midwestern pronunciation.

Check it out here: The Greek Alphabet

Π or π (Pi) = Transliterated "P"

Hehe. Kasama po yan sa librong binabasa nyo or the 'Greek Life' book sa iba.

Agreed.  Thanks for the explanation.  May follow-up question lang, and somehow related to the original posting of Skeptron.

Thank you sir.

What I would like to ask next is that ano po ang significance ng greek letters Alpha, Kappa and Rho with regard to the organization?  What I mean is, sa Tau Gamma Phi, they represent the letters T,Gand F for Triskelion's Grand Fraternity. And, this goes for the members of APO as well.

Salamat!

Sounds good!
