Yup, generally ok naman talaga ang mga diskusyon at kuro-kuro dito sa PF. at madame talagang mga bagong bagay na nalalaman at nauunawaan dito. Kaso lang sa aking siste ay delicate ang issue na ito sa kanila. Pero if may willing jan na APB na magkwento, by all means, pakikwento naman ang tunay na score dito.

For an outside observer, can't help but conclude that the two are somehow related.  Just look at their seals.  Almost the same.  Save that the UP Frat has "UP" while the San Beda Frat has "SBC" in its stead.

If the San Beda Frat did this without authorization, being a law fraternity, it would have been natural for the UP Frat to challenge this unauthorized use as trademark infringement.

In any event, this situation just underscores the problem inherent in forming chapters.  Like franchising, if the mother chapter does not have a close "supervision" over its chapters, significant differences will arise.  And it may happen that such differences would result to rifts, if not schisms.

I already explained it above. My father is both a Bedan APB and an Alphan graduate of UP Law, circa 1970's.

Beda APB was a chapter of UP APB.

Reasons of their rift is mentioned above, came straight from the horse's mouth, my father.

magkaiba ang seals kasama. sa UP initials lang na APB ang nakalagay at buong nakasulat ang Univ of the Phils whereas sa Beda ay kabaligtaran. nagpapakita lamang na magkaiba ang dalawa. In terms of doctrines, malaking pagkakaiba.
Sa ngayon, some UP APB and Beda APB are "integrating" especialy after the blast incident nung last sunday ng bar ops.

brod this is true, after the blast nag karon ng occasions na nag iintergrate tayo with APB BEda, i noticed na iba yung doctrines nila ng konti satin. ps. di lang tayo brod imiintegrate with APB BEDA, but with their sisses aswell "integrate" steady din sila.
