The GODS was formed July 7, 1990 at Mabolo, Cebu City Philippines by seven disciples which they call themselves.
The seven disciples were composed of:
1. Jason Ruiz - elder brother of Micheal Ruiz
2. Elmer Baron - elder brother of Emmanuel Baron
3. Micheal Ruiz - younger brother of Jason Ruiz
4. Emmanuel Baron - younger brother of Elmer Baron
5. Ryan Biano - close friend
6. Kit Jesson Seno - close friend
7. Albert Ditan - cousin of Elmer and Emmanuel
The seven disciples were a very good friends. They were brought up by their families in a Christian way of life. On July 7, 1990. Albert Ditan celebrates his birthday together with his friends (remaining six founders). On that occasion the seven disciples agreed to rename their group and they call it "GODS". They brought up this name "GODS" for years and it holds their friendship.They celebrate every year the founding of "GODS" and at the same time the birthday of Albert Ditan.
On July 7, 1995, during the fifth anniversary of "GODS" the seven founders agreed to branch out their group and recruit new friends. They decided to form a new Society (now Fraternity/Sorority) which be now known as "GAMMA OMICRON DELTA SIGMA" which is actually the long version of "GODS".
At present the group has already successfully spouted and had put up chapters at their respective schools and Mabolo, Cebu City as the Mother Chapter.
