BSPM Pushes For Gov’t Reforms

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Bagong Simula Pilipinas Movement (BSPM), a non-profit and non-government organization headed by its president Atty. Manuel R. Sanchez, has pushed for government reforms.

At the same time, BSPM is also supporting the bid of Vice President Jejomar Binay to run for the highest post in the country come national elections which, he described as more than qualified to become a president due to his vision to push the country into a well-developed Philippines.

“Di na mahaharang ang pagiging president ni Jojo Binay and who will fight him in the presidency?” asked Sanchez, during a jampacked meeting at a restaurant that was also attended by barangay captains and members of the Alpha Phi Omega (APO). Sanchez also Binay is qualified as the next president because he is hard working and popular worldwide.

As of June 2012, BSPM has now more than 11,000 card-members and thousands more are being processed.

Sanchez led the oath-taking of the new officers and members of BSPM in Bataan led by Bataan chamber of commerce president Vic Quezon and Dr. Junn Teopengco, also the president of the APO-Bataan Chapter.

Other prominent personalities who attended the oath include former justice secretary Bebot Bello; Rey Montano, Secretary General of BSPM; Juliet Ramos of BSPM; Vice Mayor Manny Cortez, of Samal town; Vice Mayor Bong Galicia, of Orani town; Association of Barangays President and Board member Joey Carandang. “We believe in its principle and visions that is why we joined in BSPM,” said Dr. Teopengco and Quezon.

Sanchez said that by next week, the complete senatorial slate of Binay’s political party UNA will be announced.

I think Binay has the experience, the vision and more importantly, the Will to create change in our country and he will make a good president. Is that enough to win? We will find out soon. hehe
