Suggestion though: How about forming teams composed of TWO fraternities each, and that these two teams are traditional rivals? For example, one team composed of members of TGP and AKP.(Team name: The Triskeptrons)
That would be one sight to see, members of both frats in one side of the court cheering for one team.
Our fraternity sponsors the yearly TABL (Tau Alpha Basketball League - on its 54th edition this year) as part of Engineering Week in the UP College of Engineering where Engg orgs would send their teams to compete.
I remember telling my brods: Ano kaya kung mag-field tayo ng dalawang teams composed of rival frats? Yung isa Tau Alpha and Beta Epsilon (team name: Alpha Beta) tapos yung isa Sigma Rho at Upsilon Sigma Phi (team name: Upsilon Sigma Rho). My brods liked the idea but they haven't done it because Upsilon and Sigma Rho aren't Engineering-based frats. Hmmm... maybe Epsilon Chi and EMC2 (Team name: Quantum Radians)...
What say you?
Seek to be worth knowing rather than to be well known, such is the difference between Men of Excellence and Men of Pop Culture.
"Sail on, sail on, ye Argonauts, the Truth for each of you is there, for you to find. As you find it, so will you find the common good."
There are gangs and there are pseudo-frats... then there are fratmen and there are U.P. Fratmen... and finally, there are The Argonauts of U.P. Diliman.
Since 1932. Nothing more. Nothing less. No one else.
